Pocomo, located between Polpis and Wauwinet, is the ideal location for escaping the madding masses and experiencing life in a different way. Because most of the roads in this residential area are unpaved, only residents and those who work in the area use them.
Pocomo offers several stretches of beach that provide access to pristine seas, making it an ideal place for swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, or relaxing. There are no waves and less wind, and the water is often warmer in this region since it is sheltered from the open ocean by Great Point and Cotue. Even though there aren’t any facilities here, this is a great spot for kids to run about and play.
Pocomo is such a nice beach—there aren’t many people there, and there’s a gorgeous sandbar where you can put up your chair, get out your book, and enjoy the day.
